At ShutterLux, our commitment to customer satisfaction goes beyond just the sale. That’s why every custom window treatment comes with our Extended Warranty, designed to give you peace of mind and long-term confidence in your investment.
Our warranty applies to products that were:
Professionally installed by ShutterLux or installed according to our official instructions
Maintained in good condition and not altered or relocated from the original installation site
Used only for the window and environment they were originally designed for
What’s Covered:
Our Extended Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship on operating mechanisms and hardware components. Specific products such as PVC shutters carry lifetime coverage, while others include 1–25 year limited terms depending on type.
Please note:
Fabric, drapery, upholstery, and slats are considered wearable components and are only covered within 30 days of delivery
Motorized accessories and batteries are not covered beyond the manufacturer’s warranty
Labour, removal, shipping, and reinstallation costs are not included under this warranty
Products exposed to unconventional indoor environments (e.g., high humidity, extreme temperatures, or UV/wind exposure) are excluded
What’s Not Covered:
Damage from misuse, accidents, improper cleaning, pets, pests, environmental exposure, or normal wear and tear—including fading, fraying, and discoloration—does not qualify for coverage.
